air conditioning in big block chevy engine?
I want to put air conditioning in my 67 Camaro RS / SS, but I want a big block engine 454, 572, etc. is there a way I could put air conditioning in my Camaro with a big block, if so, what big block crate engine ? what's with 572 crate motor, I can share with air conditioning that I ask!

This is one rule for me when ever I buy a car. No Air Conditioning! Don’t get A/C all it does is steel precious power and lower your mpg something you don’t want when you have a big block so just roll down a window or something.
When ever i get a new/old car the first thing I do is remove the A/C if it has it. Its like a virus for your car.

you can absolutey put AC on any chevy motor. 454, 502, 572, it doesn’t matter because they are all based on the same block. if you are looking to build a high performance big block, make sure the heads have the tapped and threaded holes for all of the asscy brackets to attach to. and trust me, you won’t be robbing your self of any noticeable power by running ac and accessories at all. you’ll have more then enough torque to leave some black strips while listening to the radio and enjoying your air conditioning with a 454. good luck,
You can put A/C on any car with any engine.
In fact chevy made alot of big block cars and trucks with factory A/C, so that means you can find/use oem chevy compressor, bracket, etc.
The 396, 427, 454, 572, ec are all based from same block design.. The blocks did change over the years but the size, bolt holes, etc didnt.
