Can you use a 3 speed TRANSMISSION on 350 CHEVY ENGINE?

2

So you can accelerate with a 3-speed automatic gearbox from a 305 Chevy engine, and use it on a small block 350 engine types if not, what would be considered a transfer is best for a new 350 small block Chevy engine. . . ??????? Thank you. .

Yes. You can use a three speed on a 350.

Hurst makes the best.

A 305, 327 and 350 engines are all the same block and bolt patterns. The only difference is bore, stroke and combustion chamber design to get the different displacement sizes. You’ll probably be using a Turbo 350 engine. It’s possible that the R400 transmission w/OD will also bolt right in – check to be sure.
