Edelbrock Performer HI-TORQ 9.0:1 – Chevy 350 Engine?
I bought a box of these engines, and I'm in the process of all M? Furniture, parts, bells and whistles on them. The main question I have is: There are two open ports on the water pump. There is one on the left side that f? R the heater hose. There is another on the top of the water that I believe can be plugged off, but it is a threaded hole in the front of the intake manifold that the same size?? E is the L? Ago at the water pump. This f? Leads me to think that I put not my job, this L? Ago, but install the water inlet valves and f? You lead a 8.5 "hose there. Has anyone ever dealt with before this? Do I have the fittings and hose can put it away or I plug? I HNEN Verga? to erw? that there is a different water inlet / outlet port on the top of the intake in the N? he Thermostatgeh of Mice as normal. This is where the other heater hose will go. Not sure if this makes a difference to the question that I ask, but I thought I w rde? it erw? hnen.Ich got the answer from Edelbrock -. "Just plug the connector at the water pump and the front of the vielf validly?, this block has an internal bypass. "Just thought I w rde? so that every white?, for reference Teren sp?.

Thats probably the bypass hose.. this allows the water to flow back into the engine when the thermostat is closed. dont plug it!!!!

You can plug it or put in temp gauge in it.
One hole on the water pump is for the heater hose as well as one hole on the intake the other hole on the intake is for tempature guages the aditional hole on the water pump is there for an extra temp outlet or if you want to plumb a set of aftermarket alum. heads for additional cooling if not just stick a plug in it…It probally isnt a stock style water pump its morethan likely a universal high flow setup
If it is a smogger engine the hole near the thermostat housing is probobly for the “thermal vaccuum switch”. If your not smogging it you can plug it.
