Is the Chevy zz427 motor a direct fit for a 95 Chevy Tahoe LS?
I was wondering if wants a zz427 crate engine fit into a 95 Chevrolet Tahoe LS? The Tahoe has teh stock motor that came with it and it is a 350ci Chevy V8 fifth 7 liter.

what does the tahoe have in it right now?
It will bolt in, but it is emissions illegal, and you will need other parts to complete the installation. Performance crate motors are not drop in replacements for stock engines and are not sold as such. You will need things like accessory mounts, hoses, a different computer setup, wiring harness etc.
== maybe if it bolts up to the automatic transmission and the bell housing is the same etc.. the best way to find if it will fit is to get the counter dude at the local junk yard to search the locator system and see if it works …. there were trannys built in Canada, USA, Mexico … and trucks assembled in USA and Canada and it all hinges on the VIN numbers as to what works or don’t…
