Small Block Chevy Engine C3141963?
Trying to figure out what this engine? I know its A 327, it might be a Corvette engine and in what year? "I apologize, the numbers are IC1463 and 378.287Ich had information that away from me, but I double checked and now have the right info! Thanks

Are you sure that’s a Chevy motor? Where is the distributor cause as far as I knew, no Chevy blocks had C as the first casting number. Or that isn’t the full casting number (is it from the block or the heads?)
The way it works is the first letter if the factory it was made at, and Chevy doesn’t have a code for a factory begining with C, as far as I can recall.
thats not a valid engine number for a 327 chevy find the right one and repost it.
You are correct this is a 327 from a Corvette from 1965. The engine stock has 350hp and is referred to as the 327/350. Also you forgot one 0 at the end of the casting number. It 3782870 it was easy to remember this casting number. There is never a Chevy V8 that has less than 7 digits for example 3970010.
