What is the difference between a Volvo Penta v8 aq231a engine and a Chevy 305 small block?
I need the exact difference between the VP-V8 and the Chevy small-block, and if possible the reason wissen.Ich do want to know that the cam differant manifolds etc, but what I do is a standard suction tube standard heads, manifolds . Water pump pulleys etc etc

you have to be joking, open the motor hatch and look at it!!!!!
Completely different engines from completely different designers and engineers in completely different decades.
American made vs Swedish made.
If you need exact differences, you’ll need to take the two engines and take them apart and document the differences as you go, including measurements, location of parts, angles of cylindars, weight of parts, etc. Its not anywhere close to the same.
Never mind! I guess you figured out this went better in the boating section. I had no idea that Volvo offered a Chevy V8 with their drive.
