where is the best place to buy a 350 crate engine and tranny for it to put in a 1988 s10?
I have a 88 Chevy S10 that I put a 350 engine in a box and tranny because it maintains. I know what good Web site wonna moters trannys and has a good deal.

Start with the GM dealer’s new crate engine. I priced them out, and they were as competitive as anybody. Likewise for a new remanufactured transmission from GM. Both have at least 3 year 75,000 mile warranties. Then you can compare those quotes to bonafide internet discounters. It’s nice being able to just go down to your local GM dealer for problems if you buy there rather than “mail order” from some other state or something. Another reputable source to price out quality remanufactured engines and transmissions is http://www.jasperengines.com that has the same warranties as GM’s except the engine isn’t brand new like GMs.

I’ve put over 60k hard miles on one of their motors. For the trans. I would reccomend ATI Performance. They will build what you need.
